Head Legal Cashier

My client is a leading professional services firm based in Sheffield

The Job

My client is a leading professional services firm based Sheffield city centre. Due to business expansion a newly created role exists for an experienced accounts manager. This role will manage an experienced team of legal cashiers ensuring compliance with SAR and money laundering regulations.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

Ensuring timely and accurate processing of all data

Month end bank reconciliation, VAT reconciliation and returns

Control of nominal and purchase ledger

monitoring of time recording and payment of client interest

Producing fee earner month end data

Dealing with client static balance to include the implementation and action of all necessary procedures in identifying and submitting to charity

Managing a team of seven, dealing with all HR elements including absence management, induction training, recruitment and appraisals. You will also be responsible in conjunction with the head of finance for introducing new systems and procedures as required including day to day trouble shooting with Bankline and Accounts provider and ensuring implementation of accounts upgrades in conjunction with the IT department.

Individuals will be organised and flexible with excellent communication skills and a strong legal accounts background. You will also have a proven track record in managing a team.

Salary

£25,000 - £30,000
