My client is a leading blue chip organisation based on the outskirts of Sheffield. An enviable position has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join their accounts function on a temp-to-perm basis.

You must be available to start as soon as possible.

The Job

My client is a leading blue chip organisation based on the outskirts of Sheffield. An enviable position has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join their accounts function on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.

You must be available to start as soon as possible. This position is to start an initial temporary contract to be made permanent in the near future.

Responsibilities:

• Be proactive on queries and cash collection.

• Turn around new accounts in set times.

• Report and liaise with sales teams and customer service on a daily basis.

• Ensure orders are released or have valid reason to hold.

• Organising own time in the maintenance of the sales ledger to maximize profits of the company and minimize bad debts.

• Review customers credit limits.

• Reconcile accounts and minimize overdue accounts.

• Ensure customer accounts are maintained within their credit limits.

A minimum of two years' experience in a credit control capacity is essential to be considered for this role.
