The Job

I am currently recruiting on behalf of my client who are seeking to appoint an experienced Legal Secretary to join busy Litigation department in their Doncaster office. They are seeking to appoint an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary.

Working as a part of a team setting, supporting nominated fee earners, duties are interesting and varied covering a wide variety of litigation matters.

  • Transcribe dictation ensuring that realistic timescales are met and that work is accurate and well presented collating and attaching enclosures for correspondence.

  • Edit and redraft documents making sure that they conform to styles and layout guidelines and to check all work is accurate and well presented once editing and redrafting is complete.

  • Acting as a point of contact for clients via telephone, to receive and forward clear messages and communicate standard information.

  • Organise meetings and manage electronic diaries.

  • Use PC to maximum advantage and be fully conversant with software used by the Firm.

  • Open client files, scan necessary documents, filing, and file closure and storage.
