Trainee Legal Secretary

Type: Permanent Role: Legal Secretary Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire

The Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Secretary, to provide administrative support for a Sheffield firm.

My client is seeking to appoint an ambitious individual who is keen to progress as a Secretary, the firm will provide the relevant support and training. You will have a minimum of 5 GCSE's (Grade A-C) . A Levels/Degree would be desirable, however experience is not necessary as all training will be provided.

Knowledge of MS Word and Excel is preferred and a knowledge of Lotus Notes is desirable but not essential. Internal IT training will be provided and there is an expectation that the candidate will be supported by the firm to acquire typing, audio typing and secretarial qualifications.

The firm are seeking someone who will approach work with confidence and who is able to use his/her initiative and actively demonstrate an engagement in the work of the department. You will work proactively and have a good eye for detail.
