Changes to the Sheffield legal scene
There have been changes afoot in Sheffield’s legal district over the last month.
The Sheffield and District Law Society has seen the appointment of its latest – and youngest – President. Chris Fry is a Partner at Wake Smith & Tofields, specialising in Industrial Disease claims. He takes over from previous President Paul Clarke, who is a solicitor at Taylor & Emmet.
As we see the new generation take the reins, we say a goodbye to a much esteemed Partner at local law firm Ashton Morton Slack. Robert Bryars, who was a partner and head of Dispute Resolution for the firm, was recently recognised in the Legal Experts Directory 2010 for the sixth consecutive year.
Meanwhile, Keeble Hawson has launched a new website and has become a Limited Liability Partnership. The firm which has offices across South Yorkshire are looking to the future, clarifying the focus of their business and consolidating their position on the Sheffield legal scene.
