BHP merges with Barron and Barron
Accountancy firm Barber Harrison & Platt have announced a merger with York based Barron and Barron. The combined firm will have a turnover of around £12m with offices across Sheffield, Leeds, Harrogate and Chesterfield.
Previously to this merger in February 2011 Barber Harrison & Platt merged with Leeds based Mitchells group. The merger is part of BHP plan to build upon its reputation as the key independent business advisory firm in Yorkshire. John Warner BHP Managing Partner said “the success of our previous merger has encouraged us to expand further into North Yorkshire”. The firm practise will now be called BHP Barron & Barron the firms over all strategy is to be recognised as the independent advisory firm in the region.
