About the business:

We are recruiting for a reputable law firm for an experienced Legal Cashier or Legal Accounts Manager to join their firm. The ideal candidate will have had exposure to all areas of a Legal Cashier such as projections, cashflow and reporting.

If successful, you will perform the following role:

• Accurately process and record financial transactions, such as client payments, disbursements, and invoices.
• Maintain and reconcile client accounts in compliance with legal and financial regulations.
• Assist in the management of office petty cash and expenses.
• Collaborate with legal professionals and support staff to address financial inquiries and provide necessary financial reports.
• Stay updated on changes in legal accounting regulations and procedures.
• Assist in financial audits and provide documentation as needed.

To apply, you will be required to meet the following criteria:

• Previous experience as a Legal Cashier or in a similar financial role within a legal practice is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in legal accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Knowledge of legal accounting regulations and compliance standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• The capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive and adaptable with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
• A relevant qualification or certification in finance or accounting is a plus, though not mandatory.
