The Role: Shape the Future of Conveyancing
As a Residential Conveyancer, you’ll manage your own caseload of residential property transactions, ensuring everything progresses smoothly from instruction to completion. Working within a collaborative team, you’ll deliver exceptional client care while meeting individual and team-based targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a Caseload: Handle a full spectrum of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages.
- Hit Your Targets: Meet individual and team KPIs and SLAs, ensuring transactions are completed efficiently and to the firm’s high standards.
- Client Communication: Keep clients, estate agents, and mortgage lenders informed with proactive and clear communication throughout the process.
- Utilise Technology: Navigate the firm’s bespoke in-house case management system to progress files effectively, maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory requirements, including AML regulations, CQS protocols, and SRA standards, while managing all necessary documentation.
- Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with legal assistants and paralegals to ensure transactions are handled seamlessly and to a consistently high standard.
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Experience: A minimum of 1 years’ experience managing your own caseload in residential conveyancing.
- Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of the conveyancing process from start to finish, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
- Client-Focused Approach: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Organisation Skills: The ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Tech-Savvy: Competency with MS Office programs and the ability to adapt quickly to new case management software.
- Compliance Awareness: Familiarity with AML, CQS, and SRA regulatory requirements.
