Location: Sheffield City Centre
Hourly Rate: £40 – £45 per hour

About the Role:

CRA Consulting, on behalf of a prestigious firm of solicitors located in the heart of Sheffield, is seeking an experienced Employment Law Locum Solicitor or Legal Executive. This role is to provide essential cover while the firm recruits a new Head of Employment. The position is available for an immediate start and offers the flexibility of both full and part-time hours, ideally office-based with some hybrid working available if necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload encompassing both claimant and respondent work.
• Collaborate with and support an existing team consisting of one solicitor and one paralegal.
• Deliver high-quality legal advice and representation on a wide range of employment law matters.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and case law.

Candidate Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with significant experience in employment law.
• Proven ability to handle a mixed caseload efficiently and effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
