Role Overview:
- Assist solicitors with caseloads, including conducting legal research, preparing documentation, and drafting correspondence.
- Handle initial client enquiries and provide information about the firm’s services and family law procedures.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including petitions, affidavits, and court applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines.
- Liaise with clients, counsel, and other third parties, maintaining professional and effective communication.
- Manage and organise case files, maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.
- Attend court proceedings, client meetings, and mediation sessions, taking detailed notes and providing support as needed.
- Assist in preparing briefs, trial bundles, and other documentation for hearings and trials.
- Conduct administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, managing diaries, and handling incoming correspondence.
- Stay informed of changes in family law and update the team on relevant legal developments.

Application Criteria:
- Previous experience in private family law will be a significant advantage
- Previous experience in commercial / corporate areas of legal practice will be considered
- If a law graduate, you will need a 2:1 or higher to be considered
- Strong academics are desired
- Completed SQE or LPC preferred
