Role Overview:
- Case Management: Handle a broad range of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, financial settlements, domestic violence, cohabitation disputes, and prenuptial agreements.
- Client Interaction: Offer compassionate and professional legal advice, ensuring clients are well-informed and supported throughout their case.
- Court Representation: Represent clients effectively in family courts, preparing and presenting cases to secure favourable outcomes.
- Legal Documentation: Draft, review, and file essential legal documents such as petitions, affidavits, statements, and agreements.
- Negotiation: Mediate and negotiate settlements and agreements between parties, focusing on achieving amicable resolutions.
- Legal Research: Perform detailed legal research to support case preparation and stay abreast of current developments in family law.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, including paralegals and support staff, to ensure efficient case management.
- Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with legal standards and firm policies, safeguarding confidentiality at all times.
- Client Development: Support the firm’s business development by nurturing client relationships and identifying opportunities for growth.

Required Application Criteria:
- You will be a qualified solicitor or chartered legal executive
- You will ideally have 2+ years post qualification experience, however newly qualified legal professionals may be considered
- You will require experience handling a diverse caseload of private family law matters including matrimonial, finances, children and family estate /business disputes
