Role Overview & Daily Responsibilities:
- Case Management: Handle a varied caseload of property disputes, including but not limited to landlord and tenant disputes, boundary disputes, rights of way, adverse possession, and property damage claims.
- Client Representation: Represent clients in court, tribunals, and mediation, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated.
- Legal Advice: Provide clear, concise, and practical legal advice to clients, explaining the legal process and potential outcomes.
- Document Preparation: Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
- Negotiation: Engage in negotiations with opposing parties to achieve favourable settlements for clients.
- Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy and stay updated on relevant legal developments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the litigation team and other departments within the firm to provide comprehensive legal services.
- Client Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing exceptional service.
