Rob Addy at CRA Consulting is currently recruiting for a specialist firm of solicitors based in Newcastle. This firm is renowned for its expertise in property law, offering a bespoke service to a diverse client base. They are looking to expand their team with the addition of a skilled Residential Conveyancer who has a strong focus on auction work and bridging loan transactions.
The Opportunity:
This is an excellent opportunity for a Residential Conveyancer to join a well-established firm with a reputation for excellence in the property sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions, with a particular emphasis on auction properties and bridging loan matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and progress a caseload of residential property transactions from inception to completion, ensuring all client needs and deadlines are met.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients, particularly in the niche areas of auction properties and bridging loans.
- Draft, review, and finalise contracts, title documents, and other related legal paperwork.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, estate agents, mortgage brokers, and other solicitors, ensuring effective communication throughout the transaction process.
- Conduct thorough due diligence, including title checks and searches, resolving any issues that may arise.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and the firm’s internal procedures throughout the conveyancing process.
- Deliver outstanding client service, fostering strong relationships and ensuring a positive client experience.
- Keep abreast of changes in conveyancing law, particularly in relation to auctions and bridging finance, and ensure this knowledge is applied to all relevant cases.
Candidate Profile:
- A qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with demonstrable experience in residential conveyancing.
- Expertise in handling auction properties and bridging loans is essential.
- A thorough understanding of conveyancing law, processes, and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple transactions simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in conveyancing software and Microsoft Office is preferred.
