The Role:
Manage Complex Cases with Precision
As a Senior Property Lawyer, you’ll handle your own caseload of sale and purchase matters, including leasehold, new build, and shared ownership transactions. You’ll ensure compliance with KPIs and SLAs while providing exceptional client care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Caseload Management: Oversee a varied caseload, utilising an assistant where necessary, and maintain high standards of file management.
- Client Interaction: Deliver top-tier customer service through proactive communication via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with solicitors, referrers, and professional organisations to ensure seamless communication and compliance with SLAs.
- Performance Goals: Meet individual targets, including completion numbers, while contributing to team KPIs and objectives.
- System Utilisation: Operate the bespoke case management system in line with firm protocols to ensure file progression.
- Professional Development: Attend training sessions, performance reviews, and team meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Compliance Adherence: Ensure full compliance with AML regulations, CQS standards, and SRA obligations.
- Leadership Example: Act as a role model within the team, demonstrating best practices in client care and operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience: At least 2 years in a conveyancing fee earner role, with confidence in handling leasehold, new build, and shared ownership cases.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office, case management systems, Land Registry Portal, and online SDLT submissions.
- Client-Focused Approach: Exceptional communication skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding client care.
- Organisational Ability: Proven track record in managing workloads and meeting strict deadlines.
- Modern Mindset: A proactive, process-driven approach to conveyancing.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of AML legislation, CQS standards, and SRA compliance requirements.
